FREE POWER is this Architect’s documented proof that his family’s solar power system is now providing free electricity.
See the proof below: his latest power bill for $0:
Not many people may know that power companies charge a monthly fee in addition to the energy charge for what they call:
BASIC CUSTOMER CHARGE
STORM RECOVERY CHARGE
SUMMARY OF RIDER ADJUSTMENTS
RENEWABLE ENERGY RIDER
SALES TAX.
And those can add up to around $22.48. So not many people can do completely away with any fees at all from their electrical provider. Unless, of course, you happen to have an arrangement with your utility company to pump YOUR power back into their grid, which can erase some or all of your monthly bill, even resulting in the power company paying you. See the above Duke Energy invoice. Notice that the amount due is $0.00. Also note that there is actually a negative balance of $-0.20. Which means the power company owes this Architect 20 cents. No doubt this is going to increase in coming months, because this power company now uses the Architect’s solar generation plant as an extension of theirs, drawing energy back from the Architect’s charged Tesla batteries when the power company has an emergency situation, which occurs more often that you might think.
$9,000 CHECK ON THE WAY.
Yes: that’s right. Duke Energy is mailing a check for $9k to this Architect for making his solar power generation facility available to the power company when they have an emergency situation, wherein his stored power from his large batteries is sent back into the commercial grid and diverted to surrounding homes.
So why is the commercial power company paying the Architect for this privilege?
Well, do you have any idea how expensive a new power generation plant is?
For nuclear: between $6 BILLION to $9 BILLION for each 1,100 MW power plant.
So, if the power company can avoid having to construct and operate a new power generation facility of its own and instead pay civilians out there in the community who have built their own mini-power plants, and there are enough of them, the power company saves billions of dollars and doesn’t have to build a new power facility for themselves.
FEDERAL ITC
The Federal government provides for a 30% Investment Tax Credit that YOU can take off the bottom line of your tax payment for this first year and the next 4 years after this if your tax bite isn’t totally erased for this initial year. For this Architect, that’s going to be around $20,500 this year. That’s erasing his entire tax bill for this first year. That’s right. Zero Federal taxes for this year.
In other words, nearly half of the Architect’s initial investment in his solar power system is being paid back to him with various incentives in the first year of ownership. And he gets free power for the rest of his life in this house. That’s a very good deal. You’ve got to spend money to save money. So if anyone asks if a solar power system is worth it: YES IT IS. And it provides the exact same, good 240v/120v electricity as THE GRID. Yes. The same. You can’t tell any difference. Everything operates the same.
